Job description

Support Worker (3650)

We have an exciting opportunity for a female support worker to join our dedicated team in Brecon, working 35 hours per week. In this role, you will support people to build relationships, try new things, and feel part of their community – so that they can live good lives.

You will be supporting two ladies in a shared supported living setting.

One lady supported said “I enjoy listening to ABBA and going to live music events. I had a great time at an ABBA tribute night, singing along to my favourite songs! I would like someone who shares my interest in music and supports me to find and plan outings that I choose.”

The other lady said “I enjoy keeping active, going for walks and swimming. I also like spending time with my friends and have been working towards learning to drive. I would like someone who takes time to get to know me and supports me to enjoy my interests, make my own choices and work towards my goals.”

We would love someone who takes time to get to know us as individuals and supports our different interests, from listening to ABBA and enjoying live music events to going for walks, swimming and spending time with friends. Please support us to choose and plan outings, make our own choices and work towards our individual goals, including learning to drive. If this sounds like you, we would love to welcome you to our support team.
